As of today Team Losi Racing has released their new 8th scale nitro flagship, the TLR 8ight 4.0. The previous model, the 3.0, was already 3 years on the market and it was time for some refreshment and get rid of some issues. It isn't a complete new car such as what happened with the 22 3.0 some weeks ago. But the refinements on the car are really interesting.

One of the upgrade bodies for your TLR 8ight-E 3.0 (or Losi 8ight-E RTR) is the Cab Forward body with part number TLR340002. This body not only looks great but the big cabine in front has also a function. It will give the car more downforce on the front and we can highly advise this body because of this. But please be aware before you drive this beauty!

Dutch TLR team driver Nathan Lejuez did his job and finished 2nd today at the Buggy Cup at the Fivelcrossers Appingedam. After the qualifications the organization decided to cancel the final because of the heavy rain. Nathan ranked 2nd during the 3 qualifications so he took the second spot on the podium!

Building tip for mounting Team Orion VST2 690 sized motors in your 8ight-e 3.0

Recently we have build two TLR 8ight-E 3.0 kits. Because these cars had to be the fastest on the track we have chosen the VST2 engines from Team Orion (1900v and 2100v). These motors generates so much power and that's why the mounting points have been changed from M3 to M4. The standard motor adapter in the 8ight-E kit is M3 so you have to do something to get your job done.
